problems after installing fass system.

I just installed the fass system. started right up after installed, went for test drive and it died. I found out that I didnt get it primed. after about 15 min I got it primed. got truck running again, let it idle in driveway for about 20 min, went for another test drive got about half mile from home and died again. could not restart again. hook up factory fuel lines bypassing the fass system and changed fuel filter and still would not start. got pulled home and changed the fuel filter up by engine and disconnected the batteries for about 10 min. I checked the trouble codes and I had cam postition error and crank pos. error. I did get it started again on factory fuel system. now my question is did it dye because of the codes I got or did I get the codes because It died. Did it start because of me disconnecting the battery or changing the fuel filter up by engine. I did remove the fuel tank and it was clean inside no gunk. sorry for the long post but just trying to get everything explained it detail. I am now scarred to drive truck.

Your signature says that you have an 03. Do you have a 7.3 or a 6.0.

The reason I ask is, your problem, and your codes seem to lead me to a classic CPS problem, but that was more prevalent in the 7.3 than the 6.0

I have the 6.0L, and I checked everything over on the fass system and could not find out where it could suck air. when I did change the fuel filter there was fuel in the module and also the filter on the fass system.
