(abs) LIGHT ON AND OFF

so i just bought the truck a lil over a week ago, already go the diesel fever. Anyways my abs light comes on everyonce in a while then i can park the truck turn it back on later and nothing.... is this a sensor??

There is a wire that runs along the frame to the brakes of each front tire. You may have partially severed 1 or stretched 1 out. When I put my tires on originally, the treads caught the driver side wire and ripped it in half. I just spliced it back together with a weather proof connector, been good ever since.
