Question 2003 Ford F-250 loses power and backfires

Hey guys,

I have a F250 that has been in the dealership for this problem before they "fixed" it and it has come back.

The truck has only 45k miles on it and has had the EGR serviced at the dealership and the turbo replaced.

The problem I am having happens when I am cruising at a steady speed with the foot on accelerator the truck backfires with black smoke coming for the exhaust while making a sucking noise from the air intake area.

I have already tried cleaning the EGR and also even tried replacing the valve with a new one with no avail.

Can ANYONE help me with this please? I am totally lost, I'm hoping it is an easy fix.

Thanks guys in advance!

Did the dealer change the egr valve or the cooler???? also did they take apart and clean up the unison ring/vanes or replace the turbo? From what i suspect its a weak egr valve and its leaking boost or the vgt isnt working properly and needs to be replaced with a new turbo.
