Smoke and rough running

Blowing a gray/white smoke under normal acceleration and when you punch it the truck would run rough and even stalled once, not sure the problem..

In relation to your smoke I had white smoke for approx. 1yr. Kept going to dealership with nothing being found until my EGR cooler busted and fluid was in my exhaust but here is the kicker the whole time I kept smelling burnt oil. When I got it back a week later still smokin almost worse turns out to be the turbo seal was cracked allowing oil in the exhaust hence the burnt oil smell. Thought all was well but a week later doing the same thing turns out the new turbo seal was busted. Finally fixed and doing well. Hope this helps you out.

First thing I would do is try and rule out the EGR cooler/valve.

Try parking the truck with the nose slightly downhill. Then pull out the EGR valve. If the intake below the valve is wet then you know you have a leaky cooler and that cold be the source of your white smoke.
