Mileage display suddenly drops, bad fuel economy follow

Hey guys, so recently I was leaving for work and noticed that as soon as I started driving, the mileage display immediatly dropped in half, from the average 6.something i was getting per kilometer, the reading dropped to 3.8. Since then I have noticed I have burned half a tank and only gone 200km. Now it is winter and I have been warming my truck up before leaving for work for about 15 minutes, but I dont remember having such a drastic loss of fuel economy last winter. Any ideas? im contemplating taking it to ford to have it cecked for injectors. Any info would be great!

Have you rest the display? Might want to track you mpg by hand for awhile to get a more accurate idea of you mpg.
