P2262 code

I had to replace the small rubber hose connecting the EGR cooler on my '04 F250. Had to pull the turbo to do so. Had no problems with the repair. Took it out for a test run last night. Turbo sounded like it spooled up better than the day I bought it. But truck running with a lack of power and trans won't shift properly due to this lack of power I presume. On that short run, engine light came on. Stopped in to local AutoZone for diag. Code came back as
P2262. Anyone seen this before or have any ideas?

If it is and early 2004, it has to relearn the VGT strategy. This is accomplished by letting the truck idle until EOT gets above 120 degrees, then it will start to relearn, if there is any exhaust leaks, even the smallest pin hole, it will not relearn and the exhaust leak will have to be fixed. But as 2 Stroker said, it may need a turbo clean. But check the turbo inlet pipe to turbo mating surface and make sure it is lined up and the clamp is tight.
