surge/stall/no power

On my way home noticed my truck chugging on deceleration off the interstate. After that, it start surging a little when im at a stop (have to through it into neutral for it not to stall out). NEXT MORNING: Park to reverse stalls out. Park to drive stalls out. Put into 1 2 or 3 and it surges a little but i can get on the road at least without stalling. absolutely no power while accelerating until i get up to about 50. As soon as i slow down to a stop, it surges and stalls. I noticed when i parked it and checked fluids that the degas bottle had more fluid than when i check last week (quite a bit more)

Disconnected the EGR to see if the surging would stop and it didnt. I am now just confused to whats going on. Ran great until now.

Changed the fuel filters, oil and air filter. No visible leaks.

If anyone has a solution or idea it would be greatly appreciated.

Also forgot to say i have recently cleaned the egr valve. This is a re-occuring problem. Once i cleaned the egr it ran better. Now its the worse its ever been.
