04 F350 moonroof

Hi all, newbie to posting here but looking for help having searched with no helpful results.

I have an 04 F350 with the moon roof and I typically drive with the vent open (up).
About a week ago thinking it was open (it was closed) I went to close it. When I engaged the button to close it, I heard what sounded like a crunching noise, which I assumed was an acorn or other tree fallen object. What I discovered in the daylight was that one side is trying to retract, while the other side binds, if that makes sense, and this would be in the retracting position. It opens and closes fine in the "vent" position, but when retracting or opening the roof, is when the crunching sound and binding occurs.

I searched for info here and elsewhere, as well as in a Haynes manual without any real info. If anyone could advise me on a direction to go in as well as a parts list or schematic I would be very thankful.
