Egr delete kit caused my truck to surge...Why?

I put a EGR delete kit on my truck a year ago. Truck ran awesome until i put it on. Now at about 2500 rpm it surges and sounds like it being starved for fuel. I changed the fuel filter and it made it a little better but then it went back to surgeing after awhile. I dunno what it is and it's making me mad. If anyone knows what this might be i would greatly appreciate the info. Thanks

I've never heard of that happening with an EGR delete. What kit did you install?

What about the second fuel filter, arent there two of them...that could be the problem... and the fix
