injectors...

After reading a number of posts, I figure I can save a few bucks by cleaning the egr until I can delete it, and I can flush the coolant system and going with elc. Any ideas on cleaning the injectors? Is there any viable cleaner I could use until I get to the injector replacement on my list of "want to do's"?

Im by no means an expert but my recommendation is to just really keep up with your preventive maintenance. They do make additives for your fuel which lubricates your injectors and keeps them clean. That could be something you could do to give it some longer lasting life span. I would just keep a close eye on things if your rig starts running sour. Edge Insight is a great thing to have to keep an eye on your pyros. Egr cleaning is always a good thing to do. Mine was covered in carbon and as soon as i cleaned it, made a pretty good difference. Unfortunately, 6.0s require quality replacement parts. The cheapest parts can end up causing you and expensive fix. Just my 2 cents. Hope any of this helped

Thanks...I am beginning to think the the 6.0 was a marketing tool for high cost replacement/upgrade parts. Regular maintenance is a given to keep anything up and running....
