No Boost

Ok guys i took truck to ford today and i had no boost like 4psi at the max and no go. like non. If i was racing a turtle i was definatly gettin beat. But i had no boost or go. And i dunno what the prob could be. Any help would be apprecitated. Thanks guys.

did you check all your boots to make sure you dont have a leak?

Ford checked it over and said they couldnt find anything. But its goin back in tomorrow and there doin a more extensive look at things. Like the engine revs up and everything like shes gonna move but it doesnt. Nothin

hey i once had a boost problem with lost power and it rurned out to be the map sencer and hose has came unpluged. might take a look at that.

There are a few possiblilities...

there are a chance the Y pipes are leaking..but that rarely causes a boost level that low....

Your fuel filters could be plugged, or the pump bad...but that also usually results in a boost level that peaks at about 12-16 PSI....so i doubt that too...

the most likely causes are either a very badly sticking turbo, or a leak in the CAC system, which most commonly would be at the blue boot that attatches to the turbo, or a popped intercooler.....
