06 6.0 mpg what should it be.

What should be average mpg for an 06 F250 6.0 with 7000 miles. Mine is only getting 15 mpg average city and close to 17 hwy. I also have a 6 speed 2001 7.3 with 174,000 getting 22.63 mpg.

Yeah my dad has an 06 250 Crew Cab and pulling a 16 foot boat loaded down for a week of fishing in Canada last week we averaged 15. He said he has seen 19 on the lie o meter running 60 down the highway with no load but he says he averages 16-18.

I have on mine, 3500 miles and getting just under 14 mpg, closer to 13.7 mpg. I need a few months off to drive it nonstop to get the miles up so I can start getting better mpgs.

Same truck here and got 36k miles and can get 21-22 at 60 on cruise but in town about 16-17...

Thats according to the digital thing on the dash...

Have an edge powerchip and they did a study in Truckin magazine with this and it said to keep it on stage 3 to get better mpg and thats what I do, not sure what it is with the chip off never tried it..

I get about 13 mpg now. My truck is unpredictable because for the past few months I was barley getting 10 mpg but now it's up to 13. Sometimes when I go to the river I get 15-17 mpg pulling a 21 foot toyhauler empty but then other times I'll get 10 mpg and that really sucks because I expect that the truck could do better than that. Also to I use a calculator to get my info.
