Sucking sound after egr cooler replacement

Well I just helped a buddy do the egr cooler and oil cooler on his 2004 F350. We have it all back together and everything seems to be ok with the exception of a sucking sound coming from the area of the turbo. I have checked both the y-pipe and exhaust band clams and can't feel any leaks. I also rechecked the air intake piping to and from the turbo and all appears to be on tight. The sound is constant at idle but gets more pronounced at throttle. The truck doesn't appear to be making boost either, lack of power. Anyone have any ideas to look at next?????

make sure that you dont have any splits in the CAC pipe hoses coming off the turbo or going into the intake. also did you put the egr vavle back in and forget the O-rings. i did that on the first one i did. i forgot to put them back on the valve after welding it.

No, the o rings were on there. Its a ***** to get it in with them on. The CAC pipe hoses look good also.
