Welcome to Hell!!!!!

Well that was short lived.....I was getting ready to do all the filter and fluid changes on my week old truck, then start on the upgrades to help keep my truck running good and guess what?

Driving back from friends house yesterday, truck lost power, and was acting like I was running on about 6 cylinders. Tried limping to local Ford dealer and ended up having to stop as the motor started knocking and smoking so bad I was afriad to drive farther. It stalled as I pulled over, tried to crank it one time on the side of the road........and the last time I heard a motor make that kind of noise, was when my buddies hopped up El Camino threw a rod and pushed a piston out the side of his motor!

Well shes in the shop now, waiting to hear back from the technician today! Time will tell!

Okay, the shop called and said it was my #3 injector. The technician said the injector completely came apart, flooded my cylinder and the loud noise I heard was the motor hydrolocking......can't compress a liquid!!

Now are there any bent pushrods? I just love it when you have to get a new truck worked on!
