04 6.0l surging problem

I have 2004 F350 with the 6.0l engine. In February I had the FICM replaced. Since then the engine will surge on its own. Sometimes it even happens at a complete stop with foot on the brake. It happens a few times a day.

I took it back to the dealer and they said they felt it but because it didn't produce any codes, they didn't know what to do.

When it happens, the engine revs and the rpm's go up. I am single female who feels like she is getting screwed by the dealer, any help would be appreciated.
