buzzing noise when shut truck off???

i have an 03 F350 and when you shut the truck off there is a buzzing noise that goes on for about 30 seconds and then it goes away. I was told that it could be injectors buzzing and that some of the 6.0s do that and some dont. has anyone else heard of this and is there a way to prevent it? its kind of annoying.

some, or at least one, of the flashed did that. Mine did it for awhile until my truck got reflashed.

If you want to get rid of it you have to get a different flash.

ok thank you for the help at least i know that its not really a problem, what does it cost to get it reflashed?

x2 on the reflash. I think you have a fairly old program in yours. I think each dealer is different, but a reflash is usually around $100 bucks.

what exaclty does a reflash do, just reprogam or update the computer or ??

reprogram and update both...its one of the same...

yep thats an old flash, It cycled the injectors for 30 seconds, it was supposed to help it start easier when cold.
