son of a gun!

so imagine that my 6 liter gave me trouble! this morning on the way to work i took off from a stop sign and bang! i figured i popped a boot but it was not a boot..it was the "plastic" boost pipe from the intercooler to the intake manifold..it litteraly blew! does anyone know where i can get an aluminum one from? the local ford garage wants $183 for a new one and no junk yards around here have one.

Is it the elbow right at the end of the cold side CAC tube? What year is your truck?

I think mine is aluminum on my 03. Can you find one at a junk yard online? Also maybe try calling your local international dealer to see if that part is compatible with an intl part. If it is i almost guarantee you it'll be a lot cheaper.

I think I have an extra aluminum one and the boot for each end. I think the plastic one only has a boot at the lower end. PM me an offer if you're interested.
