problems need help

I have an 04 F250 it won't shift in to 4 low most of the time and i have a problem getting it to shift in to gear from park .You have to stab the break 2or 3 times before it will come out of park with it running .Also sometimes i have to turn the key on just enough to get it out of gear and start it in neutral. any ideas
