Engine won't start

I have a 04 ford excursion. It had an accident now there is no fuel going to the top fuel filter. I was wondering if it had a fuel shut off switch. All the fuses under the steering wheel are there and working. I know it has diesel in the tank because I put ten gallons of diesel in there. It cranks but no start.
Cant go to dealer because the warranty is over

Mine just shut off and wouldn't fire up. Fuel pump was out. It's on the frame rail right underneath driver's seat. Get one from Ford. Mine was about $180. It comes with a new filter already in it. Replace the secondary filter. Leave the top off of the secondary filter and turn the key on and let pump run for a couple of seconds and turn it off. You will see it start to fill up with fuel. Put the top on, turn the key on and let everything prime up. Fire it up and drive down the road!

What I did, was get underneath with a clean jug of fuel and a clean empty jug and 2 pieces of fuel line about 3 feet long each. Disconnect the factory lines and install one hose and clamp on the input side of the pump and put the other end of the hose into the clean fuel. Take the other hose and connect it with a clamp to the output side of the pump and put the other end into the empty jug. Turn the key on and see what the pump is doing. That'll tell ya for sure! Old school still works on these things sometimes!
