bully dog problem

i got a friend that has an 05 ford f 250..he downloaded the bully dog programer to it...now he cant take it off, when you plug it in, its as if the computer dose not read it. i thought i might me the OBD port fues but its not...he said he took it to the dealership and removed the programmer, buttt i dont think he did and they might have flashed his computer..how can he just return it to stock??? it seams to be stuck on one of the settings from the bully dog.......we replaced the obd fuse but no luck...when you plug it in, it knows its for a powerstroke 6.0 ( this is the triple pup) then i can switch form tow to street but no difference in the HP...now when i try to return to stock it just freezes....any ideas???? thanks

If I am understanding you right the dealership flashed his truck so that would return the ECM to stock. The next step for him, if he wants the bully dog, would be to get the programmer updated online, if possible, or send it through the mail to bully dog. Edge is good about doing with no hassel, but ive never dealt with bully dog before. And just my two cents get rid of the bullydog if he can afford to get a SCT

well thats the thing...he is saying that it feels like its on the lowest setting but still higher than stock.....when you try to retrun to stock..the screen freezes and noghting happnes

I will bet the truck is stock, because I got my truck flashed and the stock setting had a little more pep than before. I would suggest he try to update the Bully Dog online or send it in, whichever Bully Dog offers. The programmer thinks it is still "in synch" with his truck because it was not properly removed. It needs a fresh start so to say. Remember only do this if Ford Reflashed the ECM!! Good Luck
