How long before I blow a gasket/head???

EGR Cooler is bad but it's not puking through the degas cap yet.
Smoking intermittently eventually goes away while in motion returns as soon as I stop for traffic. White with slight tint of blue. No coolant on the ground. Smoke smells like coolant.

So, how long can I drive it before I really screw it up? It's been doing this for a few days. I drive to and from work and that will be it. 20 miles round trip.

id be more worried about it failing and filling cylinder with colant and hydrolocking that cylinder and bending a rod. plus the steam poaches the turbo vanes and causes them to rust in one position and then you overboost and blow the heads off of it. if your lucky enought to get that far. just do a home brew delet took me like 6 hours and 20 bucks to do it.

I cosign with this. My truck had a complete engine installed at 65K because of this issue. Rod, pitted cylinder walls and rusted turbo. JJ
