Injector circuit low?

I'm getting code P0271 and a rough idle. Is this an injector problem or a wiring/ signal problem? I changed both fuel filters (that one in the frame rail is a real suck job) with no change

egr delete and SCT tune to clear CEL egr code
Thanks,
Dennis

You need to check the FICM voltages first, and make sure the FICM is at the latest calibration level.

Fairly seldom do I see injectors fail on the electrical side.

FICM voltages can be checked with any scan tool that can read live data (not a code reader). Calibration level will require being checked using Ford'd IDS (that is loaded with the latest level, currently version 65.12 as of this post).

Thanks guys, I brought it to the stealer and it turned out to be the FICM. $1,065.00 later, the problem is solved. I need to find a good indy around here (S.E. MA) any recommendations?
