turbo takes a few seconds

when i start my truck the turbo takes forever to start. it takes about 10 seconds before the turbo starts spinning after starting the truck

Sounds like the turbo vanes are sticking. You'll need to pull the turbo off and clean the vanes.

turbo is clean! i cleaned it about 2 months ago. i just got a new turbo. 66mm garrett with ceramic coated inside. i heard that it could be a plugged oil cooler, is that a possiblity?

just put the new turbo on get a tune and blow your heads clean off! lol. I would think its not the turbo since this is the 2nd turbo on the truck we have changed.

what about the VGT solinoid? did we change that out or is it the same one?

well i put my new 10 vane with bigger compressor wheel in. brand new vgt sensor and it still take 8 seconds to start spinnning after the truck is started. what is the deal?
