New heads but wont start

Finished putting my truck (03 6.0l) back together today after doing new heads and studs (cab on ). Went to start the truck but the starter will not work, but yet if i go under the truck aqnd cross the starter it will crank but not start. Any ideas or things i should check?

sorry no answer here can you do heads on an 05 with cab on? How long did it take you to do your heads???? good luck...

make sure you got all the plugs on the fender well plugged in good

It took me about 30 hours. Ya you can do an 05 with cab on, just have lots of patience.
