couple noises

New to these forums. I have a couple noises in my 04 F350 6.0l crew cab long box.

first is a rattling/clanking noise at the front end while idling. Is it normal to have a little front to back play in the fan or is the fan clutch ready to go? If it is normal the noise is around that area and should I remove the belt and check the pulley's?

Second I just finished replacing the shocks and upper and lower ball joints but I still have a knocking noise even though the truck is alot more quiet. I noticed that at the end of my exhaust the the rubber bracket is really loose and it is making noise. Would this noise travel thru the frame and be really noticable in the cab while driving? If not what else should I check?

I only bought this truck last yr and only started learning about vechicles since then so I have lots to learn.

Thx for your time.
