VGT Turbo problem

Today driving truck and all of sudden it had no power beyond 1/4 throttle. No smoke, and couldn't hear the turbo. So I assumed it was vgt solenoid or stuck vanes. I unplugged and plugged in the vgt solenoid several times why idling and then heard the turbo change sound. Drove truck and vgt working properly now. Could it possibly be bad connection on plug pins, I think i'll put some dielectric grease on them just for the heck of it. Any other ideas.

You need to scann youre truck ,its possiable you may have something else going on! Scanning would not show any fuel problems but it may give you some insight on something else ! But start checking simple things like fuel pressure ,intake restrictions !

need a scanner to monitor live data when it's acting up, check codes and go from there
