fuel filter cap socket
can someone tell me what size socket for the fuel filter housing ? i always use a half inch drive but the shop i had do it last put it on too tight and the cap started to crack im sure this has been asked already so sorry just want to get it changed asap thanks (2003 6.0)

top is 32mm and bottom 36mm. I had the top cap break b4 65.00 to get a new cap.

ok great thanks i should have said the top filter duh! i will run over to sears and see if i can get one thanks again

ya i changed both just had trouble with the top cap thanks for your help dieselman the 32mm was way to big i use a 15/16 and it worked but i got the 36mm for the oil and primary

Thats weird I use a 32 on my 03 I'm on my second cap though so maybe it's a little different. The bottom one is a messy pig to change

get one of these rescue diver showed me this it is really neat its all in one
