Just bought an 04 and now it wont start, need help!

Thursday I bought and 04 6.0 diesel, lifted on 37's, it has an airaid intake a 4" exhaust and a SCT Tune, and 123,xxx miles. Started and ran fine Thursday, Friday and Last night. Started right up ran fine in city and on the highway. Went outside this morning to go to work went to crank it up and it wouldnt start. It would crank and sound like it wanted to start, just wouldnt. Tried a few times still nothing, tried to jump it to see if by chance it wasnt getting enough power and still nothing. I have to called the truck dealership I bought it from tomorrow but I wasnt sure if there is something small I was just overlooking. Also supposedly the injectors were just changed at the Ford Dealership before I bought it. Any help is great.

first things first,ima a avid believer in the 7.3,not the 6.4 or the 6.0...ford sunk low when makin em..check the crank sensor,better yet make them check the crank sensor.does it even turn over?if it does there is a very good chance that it might be the crank sensor...its some kinda sensor,ill bet my life on it,

Have you checked all of the fluids? Also are you pulling any codes with the SCT?

Ya turns over just fine, just won't start. Only thing is the dealership is 50 miles from my house. But I already spoke with them briefly today and they said if I tried to jump it and it still didnt start to call them in the morning. The dealership I bought it from is a truck dealership not the Ford one that did the fuel injectors.

im gonna go out on a limb and say its probably the ficm. that is exactly how mine was when it went out but it did it at 93k it ran perfect and then wouldnt start all of a sudden

I havent checked anything yet. By the time I got home it was dark. I dont even know what tune it has or if it even does, I was not given a controller or anything. But from what I can tell my MPG's are really good so I was just assuming.

one of your sensors is bad,did u say it was a 6.4...?evry thing on that truck is a ***** to work on.bolts stretch,stuff breaks,believe me like i was sayin to that other fella our company has 21 of these trucks(6.0 and 6.4)and dammed if the 6.4 aint a little bit harder to work on.i took my chances with the truck you see in my avatar.but its gotta be a sensor 9 times otta ten thats what it is,

Actually on the 6.0's it generally isn't a sensor.

Do you have any codes? With the 6.0 it is almost pointless to try and diagnois a no start with out codes.
