I was leaving the house, made it 3 blocks down the road, and the engine just shut off completely. I coasted to the side of the street and tried to start it, but it just attempts to start, doesnt actually crank all the way up. Someone told me it was the fuel filter, could that be the case? It is an 04 F-250
If while the engine is turning over and it does not sound like the engine is attempting to fire its most likely the High Preasure Oil Pump or HPOP. If it is firing but not starting i would check both fuel filters.
