Coolent leak?????

not sure if this is a coolent leak or what i have going on. got in my truck went down to the store a mile down the road and back. got out and noticed something dripping, kinda slippery to touch and kinda smells like coolent, but the coolent bottle was at the min mark. its dripping down form rear of engine and off the the tranny, i know its not tranny fluid, it was not red and it slowly evaporates. possible head gaskets? its an 05 f-350 63,000 on it. any ideas? thanks

Maybe EGR hose? Look in your engine bay from the passanger side and look down into as much of the valley as you can and see if it looks damp. Most every 6.0 leak ends up at the bell housing, hard to diagnose from there. Look from the top down.

well, took it to ford dealer, because the leak got worse, and i also hard a slow starting issue when leaving a stop light and then it would just take off. So come to find out i had a cracked turbo housing, and a hose leaking on egr cooler, and bad egr valve. Luckily i had warranty on the truck so all i had to pay was the $100 deductible. Soon as warranty gone we gettin egr delete.
