I'll take a guess.

I am sure MARC the site admin would have an answer, BUT my is
As I am sure you know, The Body/cab needs to be removed from the Chassis in order to change headstuds. I would lean towards the possibility that upon re-attachment to your frame rails something was left loose , unattached or pinched. This would explain the noise you hear. Now Drive the truck stock a few days if poss and then take it back to the Stealer, I mean dealer LOL, and have them go for a ride so you can show them.. Either way it's on THEM.
Good luck and let us know whats up....

not every body pulls the cab to do headgaskets , but if they did , the steering rod to gear box does have to come loose , that is the only steering/suspension component that has to come loose , as far as your noise goes almost impossible to know without hearing it

i dont think you could mess it up ,but its is possible to have left it loose causing it to feel funny, just take it back and have them check it

Check to see if the downpipe is hitting anywhere. They may not have gotten it ligned up or the clamps could have come loose after a heat cycle and it needs to be realigned and tightened up.

describe the noise...is it a squeek....does it sound like just a bunch of air going through a tight place?? what does it sound like....

Could be a loose Y pipe....an egr clamp at the y pipe or the two bolts that bolt it to the intake not sealing....or a ton of other things....

I highly doubt its related to the body.....if anything that would be a popping noise on accel or decel if one of the bolts was left loose...thats about worst case senerio....

hey marc the sound is a very loud thumping sound , it didnt do it before the shop and now its ridiculously loud, and it does it at all times especially loud at higher mph, then when i shut her down i can feel and hear noise in the steering when i turn the wheel,i dont know if that is where the noise is coming from, but that is my guess.
