AFE Stage II

Anyone install an AFE Stage II and not thrown a cell? I'm wondering if I should have gone with the Volant instead. They have the MAF sensor in the right place. I'm told the new tube is in the works but not sure when/if I will ever see it. I'm getting good power/ sound out of this intake but wonder if I should put the stock intake back on until the fix arrives at my door. Have any of you received the new tube yet and did it work for you? What was the code on your cell? I'm taking the 250 in tomorrow to see what the code is on my truck.

Thanks
Scott

i ran into an afe stage 2 at a discount back door cost from a truck accessory company here in town. Put it on and it runs great, sounds great. Check engine light came on. P0402 and P1030 were the two codes I got from my computer. Erased them and drove it about another 250 miles and the check engine light came on again. P1030 code came on. Took the afe off and put stock components back on. As I posted earlier today, I changed back to stock on thanksgiving day and the check engine light hasnt come on since, but thurs night my truck shut itself off on the ride home from work. Wouldnt start again. Shop reflashed the computer, drove it 20 miles and the same thing. Took it to a different shop to have it worked on. Everything was fine on the truck until the afe came into play. By the way it is an 03 250 6.0 with 54,000 on it.
