2003 6.0 Excursion won't start when warmed up. Let it sit 5 - 10 minutes and eventually starts after repeated tries. Anyone know whats going on here?? Thanks for your help

Bit of a shot in the dark here, but do diesel starters get affected by heat sink in the soleniod like gassers do? We used to have issues like that on the old chevy 350's as the starters got older

Hey Joel,

The starter operates fine. Just won't fire up unless you keep turning it over and then it will start. Thanks
