Should I flash or not??

My 2005 6.0 PS has the original program were the injectors cycle 15 - 30 seconds after turning it off. Does anyone think it would help anything to take it by the stealership and have it reflashed with the latest program?

Is there any problems with the truck? I would recommend getting it reflashed, the new strategy I think is better and will help with injectors in the long run. Plus since its getting colder the newer program will help with cold starts.

Nothing wrong, just wondered if it would help the MPG. How much do they normal charge to do this?

I am not sure on price. I would say somewhere between $50 to $120. depends on the dealer and their labor rate and how much they pay the tech to do a reprogram.

Yes! I had my 05 flashed a week ago, improved starting, smoother idling. Cost me $125. They flashed PCM, FICM, and TCM.

It may help fuel mileage but I thats not what the new updates(flashes) are meant for. They are updated to improve cold starts and injector life span if you will. You may not even feel a difference in the truck at all but the update will help in the long run.
