I have a 2005 Ford F-250 6.0. has egr delete, new Oem oil cooler, new coolant filtration system, new stand pipe, dummy plugs, head gaskets arp studs, 4" turbo back exhaust, new powermaxx turbo, and new stc on HPOP. Sunday my truck died shortly after starting while backing up to my work trailer. couldn't get it to start back up.. checked the oil and oil was low so I changed it with the rotella t6.. it finally fired back up after killing the batteries and charging them. drove fine Sunday night and Monday morning. went to go to a clients home about 10:30 Monday morning and it sputtered out and died.. had it towed home and had the fuel filters changed. lord knows the dumbass who had the truck swore up and down he was a diesel mechanic. but the filters were black. the engine side fuel filter check valve was broke as well inside old filter.. placed new filter in with the piece that broke off and the truck started then sputtered and cut off. the fuel pump sounded like it was gonna puke when the truck cut off and it continued to run.. is the check valve in the fuel bowl the reason it shuts off? I know it's a lot to read but I'm losing money without this truck running and I hear from different mechanics different things.. need helpppp!
