Problems with ATS Upgrades/DTC's

Just got done installing basically the entire ats catalog on a customer's truck - 2006 f-350 dually 6.0L. I lifted the cab and did the ATS fire rings/gaskets, head studs, coolant line mods, stage 2 injectors, stage 1,2,3 fuel mods, aurora 2000 turbo system, ats trans, ats converter, copilot trans controller, egr blocker, ats e-power tuner (sct), banks intake, banks exhaust, banks intercooler, k&n cold air kit. I have not had very good luck with tech support from ATS (i wont even go there even though my customer spent over 20k with them) but now that the truck is driveable there are some issues with it. First, after removing the factory turbo and installing the ats resistor in place of the vgt sensor the pcm sets a po299 code which also sets the ses light regarding the stock sensor which is no longer in use. It also sets a po700 (trans control problem) and po740 (tcc problem) whever the copilot activates converter lockup. It DOES control lockup with the copilot but whenver it activates the tow/haul light flashes continuously and it sets the code. Apparently these problems have yet to come up with ats because they are puzzled. Currently the ats middle tune (not tow or max power) is installed. Is there a test for this "resistor" to see if it is operating, its only two wires and its hooked up correct according to their instructions. What is the max sustained egt to run these trucks at, one day they said 1200 now they say 1300 but ive seen 1450 briefly with the level 3 max power tune. If the truck sits in my 70 degree shop it starts okay but if it sits outside in the 30 degree weather it loads up on a cold start and dies, you have to warm it up at 1500 rpm for 5 minutes otherwise the minute you put it in gear it gets SO rich and loads up and dies with black smoke billowing, i imagine this will be worse in colder weather, it seems like a tuning issue with the injectors they have supplied. It has a return style fuel system set to 50psi at idle and is boost referenced up to about 85 wot. I have an electric fuel pressure gauge in the truck by auto meter and have verified its accuracy with two other mechanical gauges. They claimed power levels of 1200-1400ftlb but my stock duramax with an edge/intake/exhaust seems more powerful! I have also tried to remove the sct tuner and run the truck with the banks six gun/pda but its not any better/worse and dont really know what egt to be afraid of. I have not had the opportunity to try the cold start with the sct program out and the banks in, i only ran across the cold start problem because it was outside waiting for ats to call me back! Does anybody deal with these guys at ats or do u have someone there i should deal with, obviously i havent been in contact with the right employees there. This whole project has been very unprofessional in my opinion, we deal with high performance cars/boats daily and never have dealt with a company with such poor support. Any suggestions would be appreciated, im in the chicago area. Thanks for your time.

For now im concerned with the dtc's, max desireable egt, and cold start/loading up. Are there any sct guys in the chicago area that are familiar with diesels?

You might want to give Tadd at Elite Diesel.* Welcome to the Elite a call. He used to work for ATS and started his own company he might be filling to help you out since he might know a little about this products. Tell him your on a forum supported by him and see what happens.
