Batteries died after stud install??

Any idea what would have caused this?? You think they are just bad or something not hooked back up or thought about going and buying 2 new batteries but figured I would ask here first.

check for a draw, and make sure your alternator is putting out. You had the truck in a hundred pieces, it's easy to have left something loose.

Whats wierd is that every once and awhile it will act fine glow plugs will charge and when I go to crank nothin? then the lights go hay wie again? Any ideas?
