truck want start

my buddy has a 03 and he was going down the road at about 35mph and the truck cut off and want crank back...we checked all of the fuses and checked the fuel pump but everything was fine...we are thinkin the cam sensor so were are going to try it tomorrow unless someone has a better idea of what it could be....

change the cam postion sensor.

can u change the cam sensor without taking the compressor off of the truck or do you have to take it off???

Its very unlikely the cam sensor is your problem. Without a scanner its nearly impossible to tell what is

we checked it with a matco scan tool and it said something about the turbo performance or something i dont remember...

Forgive me for asking the obvious. Have you checked the oil? How about the HPOP oil level? These motors are designed to shut down if the oil gets too low.
