Hello all,
I'm a first time poster so I hope its OK to already be inquiring about help. I just recently bought a 2003 F-350 6.0L from Massachusetts and drove it 936 miles back to Ohio. I have my concerns with the truck already and expect the worse, that way if its not bad at all-no harms done. Throughout the journey, the cab rattles like a mad man. It's only at certain speeds, but the passenger side and crew cab side door rattle like crazy and it seems as though something isn't lining up right? The doors literally wiggle and have play in them when the rattling is present. I was wondering if there were any fixes/ causes for concern? Is this a drivetrain issue? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, J |

Has your truck been wrecked? Do the body lines on the passenger side line up? I'd check the hinges and the door strikers to see if they are ok. Something must be providing the vibration for the rattle. Tires ok? Wheels balanced? Universal joints? The fact that it happens at certain speeds, I'd suspect a tire. Good luck.

if you have the bumbers you can tighten the door seal by moving the latch pin in or by moving the latch out. they are slotted holes for adjustment. that should help providing you hinge pins are in good shape.
