The EXACT damn thing just happened to me this evening. Any updates you can share??? How involved is it to take the dash apart to get at the bulbs? I hope you got your bulb situation figured out so I can pick your brain!!!

If you pull your dash apart and take out the instrument cluster you will see small black things sticking out of the back. Wish I had pics, but they're round with a flat bar thing sticking out. Just turn them counter clockwise and they come right out. There should be a bulb in there like a 194 or something. There will be a number on the bulb. Pull the bulb out of the black handle, put a new one in, and just put it back in the cluster and turn it clockwise until it stops.

The bulbs in mine are white.. I have replaced a few of them and recently a few more went out (different ones) so i get to do it again. I had to drop the steering column, pull the dash out and the bulbs are back in there... its prolly like an hr worth of work
