I have 1 hooked to the high idle feature. It was that way when I bought it. I looked up behind the switches to find the end to # 2 to hook up power to my sirius radio. I found the wires up behind the fuse box. One side goes to the orange wire which I assume is the positive side where is the other wire connected to?

The ends are under the dash near the fuse block.

I was planning on using #4 for the high idle mod, and #3 for the remote turn on heading to the subwoofer amplifier. I'm still running the stock head unit.

I have an '06. My owners manual says the wires for the switched dead end in a second fuse box behing the glove compartment. Havent looked yet though. I like the high idle idea. Just would question how good it is for the truck to start up in cold weather and then jump right up to a high idle. I like it for extended idle time once its warm though.

Great minds think alike!

#3 is the train horn on/off switch
#4 turns the compressor off, regardless of what the pressure switch is telling it to do

And #1 is for my back up lights.

After a lot of thinking, I'm going to use #2 for the high idle mod. And before you flame, yes, I know that #2 would be overkill for the mod.

Not really sure of the benefits or possibly damage in high idling a very cold truck from startup. I haven't really used the mod too much except for jump starting someone else's truck or equipment. I have a remote start and just let it run a few minutes before i go out.
