05+ lariat interior ??'s
i have the wood grain door panels and dash piece, and was wondering how hard it would be to put 07 style lariat carbon fiber pieces in. i know the dash piece pops off but not sure about the doors. just getting tired of the wood grain. has anyone done something like this. or better yet know were i can get the pieces.

They should just also pop off but you are probably going to need a flat thin tool like a scraper to get behind them to pry. If I looked at my dash correctly, the dash is one whole piece, and the wood grain is stuck/painted on the plastic, they are not inserts, so its going to be the whole black dash piece....

the dash piece will have to be replaced all together. for the door panels all you need to do is taking a plastic melting iron and melt the tits located on the back of the panel and pry em out then put the new ones in and melt em in. but it would be a lot easier just to replace the whole door panels.

yea just pull the door panel off. Liek one bolt or so(one by window switch and red light at bottom) and lift up ion the panel. Then you cna see where they woodgrain gets fastened to the door panel. Undoit(dont know its its melted or screwed) and install the new one in the same fashion. My old truck had the carbon fiber and I liek the woodgrain alot more. Hides dirt and oil better. Both a great choces though
