3" pyrometer in on dash?

I have been looking to put a Pyro in my truck since I bought it about a year ago. Last weekend, while at my parents house, my dad gave me a 3" isspro 1800* pyrometer.

Has anyone ever used one this large? Where did you put it?

Also I need to get the thermocouple and I'm not sure if I need one specific to the 1800*, nor do I know if I need the long or short(I'm guessing short)

Edit: I'm planning on towing a 5er out of state in a few months and would like to have time to properly fab up and install if I need to

Mike I don't know that I've seen anyone put a 3" pyro in one of these trucks. If it was me, I'd get the 1800 set thermocouple to be more accurate. Worst case if no-one knows, call/email Isspro

I just had a crazy thought. My teaching partner just got a 3D printer. I could just invest about 4 hours on cad and push print... Then I could share the love!

Update.

I got the drawing done a few weeks ago and finally got a chance to load it in the 3d printer.

It says it will take 40hrs!

I'm not holding much faith in it finishing. It's bound to have a problem. Such is my luck with diy cnc equipment.
I'll try to post pics if it finishes
