Gauge Pillar Pod Paint Opinion...

I just received my Stewart Warner Impact gauges today and I was unhappy to find out they have a chrome bezel. Nothing in my truck is chrome so this is kinda crappy. On the other hand, when I put the "unpainted" black pod up there, it doesn't look half bad. I do have the gray interior paint to paint the pillar to match the rest of the interior, but I must say, I think it will look better black. Opinions?

I am sure there is a way around the chrome bezel, but it really isn't terrible with the black pillar. If I used the gray, that would probably really look like crap. Oh, I may or may not lower it, haven't settled on anything yet.

PS, sorry for the crappy, out of focus, cell phone pic. I will provide better ones tomorrow.
