excursion center consol swap

Iv seen some pictures of the excursion full center console swap into ford trucks. Problem is I cant seem to figure out exactly which years consoles work best to use. Also is it tall enough to be used as an armrest and what happens to the 4x4 shifter on the floor ?

I have the excursion console it sits an inch or two taller and the arm rests are fine, the front doesnt stick out more than the superduty console I have esof but if I didnt it would be fine as well.

2005 and no shifter on floor but it sticks out in the front noo further than the superduty one so you will be ok.
