Is that the new Pioneer Avic head unit? How many watts are you putting to that sub? How loud (db) do ya think. Have you heard any subs behind the rear seats, if so how do they compare?

Thanks
Mika

yes thats the avic d3 head unit. That sub is getting over 1000 watts of true power and im not sure how loud it is. my dad actually has 2 shallow pioneer 12's and a 500/1 jl amp pushing them. they arent to great for deep bass but thats because of the lack of air space. mine is built for deep bass cause that is all i have ever had. if i were going to do a box behind the seat i would go with diamonds new shallow woofers. they are getting really good reviews and i think they run around 300 a piece. i will probably do that along with my console.

MTX audio makes a sub box that is a direct replacement including matching cloth. It will house a 10" sub.
