SCT Livewire TS with Edge dash mount

I bought a Insight cts (with the dash mount) and it would not work with my truck. I did have a sct hand held tuner at the time. I tried everything to get that combo to work. Lots of calls to both edge and sct....no dice.

Sold the sct tuner and returned the insight.

I keep the dash mount and bought the Livewire TS from Innovative diesel with 3 custom tunes.

Did some small modifications and ended up with this.

On a side note the IDP tunes are amazing!!!

Edge sells a plastic insert for the insight cts. I just cut the tabs off and used 3m double sided tape to mount it to that.

I tried a few different approaches to mounting the Livewire, and didn't like having the unit squared with the dash so far to the left, as sun glare made it difficult to read at times. I thought I'd share the solution I settled on, as it was also the easiest I tried. I simply used a strip of thick 3M double-sided tape, put the unit as far back as it would go, and tilted it so it was facing the driver's position. It fits in that spot quit nicely, and with it angled towards me, no more glare issues.

This is exactly what I plan to do with mine. I've got a guy who has done some dash work on my vehicles in the past and does amazing work when it comes to integrating aftermarket stuff into vehicles and have them look completely stock.

I had planned to having 2 USB molded in on the left side but it looks like you've got a 3.5mm AUX or something? what is that?
