Can you disconnect the chime?

I was wondering if anybody knew how to disconnect the chime on an '07 f250? Crawled up under the dash and removed the fusebox and still could not find it. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Its annoying when you listen to music with your door open. And just annoying period.

Mine was a little black box that I yanked out from its connecter just above the go pedal, not sure that yours is the same though, being that Im a 97 and you are an 07.

I do this sometimes, especially if I'm watching my guy's working or writing an invoice.

I disconnected mine. I pulled the ignition out and took the little connector out and put tape on it, works fine.

I'll look for the thread.
