On the occasion that I take to cleaning the interior, it is awful hard for a fat man to do it with the doors closed and it gets awful hot in Texas with the windows up and the doors closed. I just thought that someone may have found the hiding place for the little bugger by now.

On a 2005 f250 diesel you remove the 3 phillips headed bolts that are under the sterring wheel, plus the cover under it. ( pull straight out and let it drop down to free the bottom. Look for a black wire with a pink line running thru it. I just cut mine. End of annoying chime. Some guys do a better job and take the wire off where it joins the key tumbler. My after market stereo make it 10 times louder for some reason. Takes 3 minutes to do this and well worth it.
