No Glove Box light

Hi All,

Not sure if I'm crazy or not, but I cannot find any trace of a glove box light in my truck, it's an '06 lariat. I dropped the glove box and looked around and couldn't find any plug-in, wiring or sign of a socket for a light bulb.

Was it an option or does anyone know where the wiring comes into the glove box (I guess it's really the dash side where it mounts)?

Thanks for the assistance!

It was another great money saving idea from Ford - delete the glovebox light

I just went to the local pick and pull yard and pulled one out of a newer Ford car and installed it in my truck.

Wow, Gotta say, I'm surprised. Then again, stranger things have happened.

Thanks for the responses, I will hit up the junk yard and pull one from an older truck. It's a little thing, but nice to have.
